Where in your life have you been sleeping or numbing yourself from feeling your emotions? Healing can be scary. We all want to feel better, and of course we all want to feel as close as possible to God, but sometimes it feels too painful to face our traumas. The angels are not admonishing us here, they are reminding us that opening our hearts to healing our deep wounds is a crucial part of our spiritual journey. When we heal, we remember that we are worthy, we are loved, and that we one with God. The separateness that we may have been feeling gets smaller and smaller over time until we are no longer separate.
In meditation, allow the angels to surround you and to create a bed for you with their arms so that they are fully embracing you. Feel healing light coming up from their arms into the entire backside of your body. Allow this light to fill every cell and every particle of your being. Notice as you rest in their arms that all of your tension melts away and you are filled with peace.
Now, knowing that you are safe and held, ask the angels to show you where you may be numbing yourself or closing off your connection with God (whether consciously or unconsciously). Breathe deeply and allow them to send healing light to whatever areas they show you. For example, they may show you parts of your body where you are holding the energy of past traumas or they may show you memories or current circumstances in which you are numbing yourself. If they show you past or current situations, ask them to not only heal the energy around these events but to show you how to approach the situation with an open heart. Furthermore, they may even provide a solution to the challenge, as well.
Remember that you are safe and supported in every part of your healing journey and to take it one step at a time.
