Where in your life do you find yourself trying to control things? This is something that I think many of us are not even consciously aware of because it is so second nature.

For today’s meditation, you can call the angels in to show you where you are holding on too tightly to the reins. This will be powerful in itself, but they are showing me something that is important to add. Start the meditation by breathing deeply. With each inhale say (out loud or in your head), “I trust” and with each exhale say, “I surrender.” Once you feel relaxed, start doing a scan of your body from your toes upward. Pay close attention to any areas in your body where you are feeling tension. Take time to breathe into each of these areas and as you do ask the tension to show you its root cause. You may be shown something happening in your life currently or you may be shown a past event. Once you receive a clear message, ask the area what it needs to heal the root cause. For example, you may be shown an angel filling it with healing light or you may be shown an action you need to take to heal the issue. Trust whatever comes up.

Be sure to listen to every part of your body that is holding tension. When we try to control, we stifle our natural flow and rhythm; we stifle our life force. Taking the time to ease these areas in the body will help to not only create relief in your physical body, but will create more peace in your life as well. If you do this exercise often, you may find it easier to trust, create, and enjoy life as it unfolds.
